我也是学英语的,现在也在机械工厂上班,刚开始上班也很茫然,许多东西都不懂,现在就尽量多学学专业词汇,多看看机械制图,多了解了解了,只能这样了

个人觉得英语专业的学机械实在是太困难，比较一下大学时候的学时和专业课的差距就知道了。上海有很多日资企业，宁愿找不会英语的机械毕业生也不会找日语专业毕业生来搞机械。。。。如果楼主真想入机械的门，需要恶补了。

网络资源可以好好利用当你翻译到你不懂的东西的时候你就可以搜索网络了解这方面知识可能需要花比机械专业的人更多的时间去理解但是如果想做好还是需要付出的慢慢积累你会有你擅长的一个方向我想没有一个翻译能做到方方面面都强的吧

如果你是翻译的需要的话，可以经常看看有关机械基础方面的书籍，机械，顾名思义，它就是有很多概念性的东西，或者说概念性很强。要求理解，不要求记忆，在机械行业，有很多专业的英语，这些好像就只能特殊记忆了。
如果你真的想学习机械专业，并且以此为生的话，这就能下点功夫了。学机械，立体感方面好的人一般会比较容易学些。那就得按部就班，没有什么技巧了

我非常赞成版主的意见，我觉得对于英语专业的人来说，做机械翻译时，就应当这样慢慢摸索，慢慢领悟，才会不断向前发展！
